In addition to the auditioned honor choirs, a Collegiate Repertoire Choir will be chosen by nomination from their conductors. The purpose of this ensemble is to introduce choral emphasis music education students to repertoire useful to them as teachers at the middle and high school levels. It will also provide them with the opportunity to participate in interactive, engaging rehearsal strategies that lead to the development of artistry.

Students will receive:

  • fifteen pieces
  • teaching plans for each, and
  • admission to all conference concerts and sessions February 9–11.

The Saturday rehearsals will be led by five outstanding conductors from the North Central division of ACDA. This is a non-performing choir.

A separate mailing has been sent to college directors with application forms and instructions.
